If you want to sit in a restaurant that feels like a university student's basement pad, than this is the place. Tried this place only once - was desperately craving waffles and figured a pancake house would have them. I was wrong. No matter, got the banana walnut pancake and figured for $13 it would be a damn good pancake but was turned out very average. Should have stayed home and made my own.
One piece of advice to the servers, ask everyone at the table for their drink order. Don't leave assuming no one wants a drink just because the first person you asked declines.

Took 7 friends to this place for their recent Halloween bash. Had the ambiance of a cafeteria, not a bistro. For $22, my prime rib w/ a side of steamed rice and boiled bok choy was tasteless and lukewarm. Some of my friends had the chicken w/ shrimp - the chicken looked and tasted exactly like the frozen breasts you buy from Costco. Was shocked to get our bill with a 15% added surcharge for our table having 8 persons to serve. Our server kindly informed us that this did not include our tip but was for the bartender and the bus boy! We asked to see the manager who didn't have the guts to come to our table to explain. I spoke to a couple of other tables and they were equally shocked at this blatant cash grab.
