I can't believe how badly we were treated
Submitted Wednesday, October 11, 2006 - 1:50pm [Dine in]

My two friends and I went for dinner at the Primrose. We couldn't decide what to have so we went with the Greek appetizer platter. Everything was good except the calamari- it was off! We called the server over and told her that it was not very good. She said "oh- we have been serving it all night, and no one else has complained". We said- we don't care about anybody else, we think it is off. She then brought the owner over who told us they had been using the same batter all day (yuck) and that no one else said anything. They then took out plate away, and the owner stood at the bar eating off our plate!!!! I cannot believe that anybody would do something that gross. We were not offered anything else, and our bill was not adjusted. All in all I think they treated us very badly. We will not go back

Great find

My husband and I went here with my son ( a chef) and his girlfriend. The service was very friendly and the waiter was more than willing to help with the menu that was written only in french. I had the set menu- a tomato tart to start, sea bass, and mango cheesecake for desert- all for $21.99- the food was excellent. The others had rack of lamb, steak, and duck. Everyone thought their food was great. We all want to go back, and we will. The only drawback is that they only take cash, so go to the cash machine first

pricey
Submitted Thursday, February 23, 2006 - 5:21pm [Dine in]

We went here for lunch. We found it very pricey and ended up getting the burger (the least expensive thing on the menu) and that was $15.00. I mean c'mon - it's a hamburger. It was OK, nothing to write home about. The service was friendly enough, but I think she thought we were cheap. We had no drinks and skipped the coffee. I would probably not go back- well not for lunch at any rate.

We have eaten here three or four times and I have always enjoyed it. I have had the lobster - great, halibut - always good, and salmon - can't go wrong. The service is always friendly and the view is great. I'll keep going.

I have been going here for years and years. I always enjoy my meal, and the service is always friendly. I often have the lamb souvlaki but enjoy the pizza too. Their pink sunshine has been on the menu since the 70's.
