So far best in Richmond

We dine out often in Richmond and are somewhat critical of the places we go. When Mega sushi opened we noticed it to be very busy. We better give it a try. The first thing we had was the nice green tea. It had a toasted sesame flavor and i couldn't stop drinking it. The rolls were very fresh and especially liked the mango roll. Very fresh. The table next to us had a tower of something and we later found out it was a tuna tower. Looked impressive. The chicken was especially good because it was like they BBQ it. The flavor and freshness was really good. We have been back almost weekly. The only disappointment was one day on a Sunday they were so busy the were taking reservations. There was no place to wait so we stepped outside. People were being turned away but that must be a good sign. Disappointing for the customer but food and service was very good.

Disappointed again

We both look forward to dinning out several times a week. We thought since we are going to this mall we could give Sushi Han another try at their new location. The first time the service was poor and the food was just OK. This time the service was better and i think only because there was just two other tables. The food came quickly and was somewhat disappointed. I had a bento box with chicken. The chicken was white as if it was microwaved with sauce on top. The sushi was mediocre at best. My wife's sushi was inconsistent. The rolls pieces were different sizes and not appetizing at all. We took the left over home but will be thrown out. After having the sushi at Mega sushi in Steveston it would be hard for Sushi han to compete.

We could be food critics. We dine out at least two to three times a week and when we hit a winner i want everyone to know. I have to say this place was a great first impression. We were acknowledged right away and 20 ounce beers were delivered promptly. When we looked at the large menu it was hard to decide but when ordering you have a choice of two sides.Cajun chicken with Fries/gravy and salad. It was a big plate. All very fresh. She had a grill chicken with two salads. The macaroni salad was not from a bucket. The place was open and inviting. The waitresses are nice to look at also. This will be a regular hang out and i hope they keep up the good work.
