Good for what it is.

It's a fish and chips place. The ambiance is nothing special, kind of blah, reminiscent of an old Denny's or something. You seat yourself which is kind of... raw. And at the end, you pay a cashier. It is what it is. Fish is expensive. Period. Halibut and chips was great. We didn't find it greasy at all. Service was acceptable for what it is. Coleslaw was good too. It's close by which is great for a quick fix.

I have to say that when I logged on to this website I was surprised to see so many bad reviews for this place. It's one of our favorite restaurants, and we eat out a lot. It's definitely our favorite for greek food. We live in New West and used to live in Richmond. We pass several greek restaurants on the way but we like Kefi the best. We've even brought a lot of our friends here for dinner and have made loyal customers out of them as well. Service is always acceptable, sometimes better than others, but we've never had bad service. I always find the food consistent and well-seasoned. Which confuses me even more... is it bland or is it salty people???

My favorite thing on the menu is the lamb souvlaki. It's very lean meat and a large portion of meat, not like the large portion of rice you get elsewhere. Hubby almost almost always has the roast lamb. He likes it because the top is crisped. When we have room, we get a bougatsa for dessert. The phillo is nice and crispy and the custard filling is HOT. I recommend this place.

Yasu is great! This is our favorite restaurant! Even though we can't make it there very often anymore, we make it there as much as we can. The thinly sliced tuna is delicious! Everything is really great here. I need to keep writing because I haven't put in enough words to fill the space so I'll just say again that this is our favorite restaurant

Dined here with a girlfriend. A small place with pretty cramped tables but it was cute. Were seated next to the heater and I had a nice red mark on my leg (through my jeans) by the end of the night. Service was ok though our server I guess had gone for a break while we were dining and came back smelling of cigarettes (yuck). Popcorn shrimp appetizer was delicious. I had the evening special of short rib and my friend had the meatloaf. both were good, nothing exciting, but good. Creme brulle was a large portion and done properly. Though it was odd that they didn't have a written dessert menu, we had to ask the server to repeat the FIVE items because we couldn't remember them long enough to choose something. I'd go back for the shrimp and the brulle.
