Unbelievably good filet mignon
Submitted Monday, February 14, 2011 - 2:40pm [Dine in]

I've been here a number of times now, as my work is just around the block, and I love good steak. I am here to tell you that this is the best filet mignon you will ever taste.

First, the cut is perfectly selected - there is never any crap on the steak. It's just tender and juicy, and it is of a nice size/height. Second, they season it better than I have EVER tasted anywhere else. It is perfectly salty and flavorful. Third, they cook it to perfection. Somehow the meat is crispy on the outside and cooked exactly to your liking on the inside. Absolutely outstanding.

To add to the experience, they bring out the most amazing onion loaf before your meal comes. It is super fresh, and tastes delicious. I have also had the duck spring rolls to start. They are tender and flavorful, served with strawberries and drizzled in a tangy sauce that makes the whole dish.

I can't speak for any of their other steaks, but overall, you owe it to yourself to try their filet. Run, don't walk.

Excellent pasta, but I didn't care for their pizza or delivery service
Submitted Tuesday, February 8, 2011 - 12:38pm [Delivery]

We ordered the baked ravioli and a small pepperoni and mushroom pizza for delivery. They don't have a cordless authorization machine, so you have to give your credit card number over the phone, which is rather sketch. They were also 20 minutes late to deliver.

The pizza was extremely ordinary. I didn't care for the way the ingredients were layered, most of the pepperoni and mushrooms were steamed as opposed to baked, since they were under the cheese. Also, their dipping sauces are pretty much like their store bought equivalents. For example, we ordered a ranch dipping sauce, and it was pretty much just Hidden Valley Ranch put into a little container. My boyfriend didn't care for the blue cheese dip, either.

HOWEVER: the pasta was extremely good. It tasted like homemade lasagna. I would definitely have this again, and I recommend ordering it.

Overall, not blown away but you can't argue with how good the pasta tasted.

This pizza was absolutely delicious. The crust tastes buttery and is nice and crisp. The sauce and the toppings were fresh and cooked to perfection. They have some really good specials on now too, so I got a medium pepperoni pizza for $8.

Plus, I find that this pizza is easier to digest than Domino's.

Will definitely order again! Yum!!!!
