we had a wonderful evening at bishops.. the food and service was outstanding. we were made to feel welcome and given fabulous service.. we ate the bison, the duck and the venison.. it was one of the best meals we all agreed we had eaten in a long time. thier bread was to die for.. the best popp seed bread i have ever eaten.. they gave us 3 helpings of it!!our wine and water glasses were immediately refilled. when i left i was given a box with the poppy seed bread as i had asked for the recipe.. will def go back again..

we came here for dinner on my birthday.. i was so pleased with the excellent service we got and the food was really good. my husband loved the wine and we asked for seconds of their bread.. i have to say its one of the best i have ever eaten. so wanted to ask them for its recipe. everything we all ate was excellent from the starters to the dessert.. we will be coming back for sure.

had dinner there last night.even tho we had a 8 o clock reservation we were taken to our table at 9pm after i went and asked the manager what was the point of making a reservation if it had no value.. so he kindly compensated by giving us a free drink on the house.. i would have prefereed not waiting or being told at the time we phoned in that we should come later.. the steak was terrible.. tough.. not worth the price ..sea food was great..the whole entertainment value was nice..had to def wash our clothes and jackets to get the smell of the bbq smoke out.. may go again but maybe not on a saturday night.

we come here all the time. their sushi is fresh..my husband loves their spicy tofu and chicken teriyaki. i love their gomae and get very dissapointed when they run out!! best gomai i have ever eaten is here. their spider rolls are great too. the sashimi is a bit pricey and the size isnt the greatest.. servers have been friendly and some times run off their feet..i recomend this place to everyone..

this place is a little gem in hiding.the food is excellent and authentic. i am east indian and so i can say truthfully its on par with most of the good mughal cusine one gets in bombay..their naans and rotis are fresh and made in a real tandoor as our theri kebabs..i would have to say i prefer all their meat dishes over their veggies..its a down to earth simple place ,fairly clean where its only about the food.the service is decent and humble.their ambience is 0..but who cares when one is interested in getting excellent food..all my friends white and non white have loved this place when i have taken them there.go ahead and try it out..their "kheema nan" is incredible.. i dont think any indian restruant in greater vancouver including vijs's can beat their tandoori and kebabs dishes..
