We went there for a nice brunch after I heard good reviews. We had some breakfast style appies which we outstanding, and then had our main courses, which were crab benny and bacon benny. Both courses were well worth the money and i would definalty go there again and again. Our server was excellent, very polite and knowledgeable about what he was serving us!! The portion sizes were great for the prices and well worth it!
We went here for a nice lunch after a walk to see yaletown. We had crab cakes which were incrediable, and the chicken pasta with garlic bread. The pasta was excellent and we were both very impressed. The serivce was also very good with very informative and attentive staff. We also had several cocktails which were very good. Definatly should try this spot!!
We went out for some indian food tonight after craving it for a week.... this place had great reviews and was suggested by someone we asked at a local gelato shop. We had some potatoe stuffed naan and garlic naan which we both very very good. We had some veggie samosas which were very uniquely wrapped and very good. Our main courses were nice but could have been a bit spicer. We definatly got our moneys worth and were very happy and full when we left. The servers were very friendly and helpful. Definatly worth a try for good indian food!!!
We were told to try this spot by a lady at the suites we were staying in. We both had the lunch special which was a main course, soup and a spring roll. It was excellent thai food and we were both quite pleased with our meal. The server was pleasant and food was good :)
We went to sammy's after seeing heaps of people in there everytime we walked by. In the week we were staying in vancouver (on robson and denman) we went 3 times just for the wings. They are by far the most juicy, big and flavourful wings we have ever had...and between the 2 of us we've had lots of wings. We had tried the medium and hot the first time which the medium isnt very hot at all and hot was great for someone not liking lots of spice. The next time we had hot and suicide, which the suicide was quite hot and very flavourful....not stupid hot. We both would definatly go back next time we are in vancouver, and highly recommend the wings :)
We went for a nice dinner while on holiday in vancouver. I have never been to a nicer resturant before that was in a larger city, but my boyfriend who came with me has been many times as he is a chef himself. We shared the complimentry bread and olive tapanade, which was excellent, then chose a selection of "add-ons" as well as a main course (pork chop), and creme brule and tiramisu as deserts. The food was very good, and portion sizes were excellent for price, we were both very satisfied. Our server was awesome and knew lots about different wines and menu items. We both have food intolerances one being to beef the other to nuts/seeds, and they were very helpful and accomodating even with brining a fruit plate at the end of our meal (complimentry) because the cookies and mini scones contained nuts/seeds. We had a very good experience and would highly recommend this resturant to anyone who appreciates good food.
