Do NOT, repeat, NOT look at the filthy baseboards or the multitude of dead flies in the lighting fixtures or you will be REPULSED by the sheer filth and grime.
If you have the courage, you will get pretty decent pizza with some interesting flavour combinations at an excellent price.
You're not gonna go here for the ambience or the service....But you must try WAR....a concoction consisting of:
Fries
Thai peanut sauce
Mayo
diced onion.
Believe me, it tastes much better than it sounds.....Certainly not health food, so I don't allow myself to indulge more than once every couple of months or so....
Also----you must try a deep-fried Mars bar once in your life...It's an experience. One of those things where "once may be enough", but at least you can say you tried it.
Have been here several times & have been warmly greeted by wait staff. Dean, the chef is very friendly and interested in his customers.
The place is not fancy, but clean and neat, with a homey touch. The breakfasts look FANTASTIC, although I admit I haven't tried one (yet!) Everything I have tried has been very good, and they will cheerily substitute menu items if you like.
My wife & I went here several times, and each time ordered something different. While not fine dining, the food was well prepared, tasty, servers were friendly & efficient & the kitchen was amenable to making substitutions.
Alas, when we went there last night, the doors were closed *OUT OF BUSINESS** Too bad. :^(
