I have been wanting to try this spot, and heard from friends, service is slow and food was okay. I must have been in a coma, and didn't listen to good advice.
Ambiance, I gave 5, due to how beautiful this place looks, with the big windows, dark brown walls, Emily Carr paintings that are re-prints to blue floors. Its got a nice flow, bright, airy, comfortable and this is the only positive I got to say about this place.
Service, was non existant in the beginning, it was like watching wet paint drying. I had this thought, I should leave, but blame it to the nice looking place and the coma I had suffered, Lmao. It took about 15 minutes when my server did arrive, friendly and took my ordered. I could tell they didn't have many people working, if there were more, they must have been hiding in the kitchen.
Food, I think they knew I was going to order a cheese burger, it came running out in 5 minutes. I should have stopped, not taken a bite, and gone home, but my coma interfered with my judgement. The burger looked as someone threw & slop all the ingredients together, mismatching my burger with the bun. As I was eating my cheese burger it didn't taste as good, salty and I should have stopped eating my rock, but I was on a roll. I knew this burger was going to own me, even now still feel like I ate bowling ball, I know I chewed my food, and didn't swallow it whole like a seagull. I hope I don't have to wait a lifetime to eat again, but I promise I won't be back anytime soon, unless hell freezes over.
Can't recommend, unless you want to have rock in your stomach.
