Milestone's Grill and Bar4308 Main St., 19, Whistler
Soup and burgers
Submitted Friday, February 20, 2009 - 5:59am [Dine in]

This Milestone's differs so much from the one in Vic. In look and feel and service. I feel I should post a quick review. I love their chowder and burgers there so i called in a takeout order. Back to main street to pick up, man I should have just got a room on main street, anyhow 2 burgers and 4 chowders with tip for $55.00 not to bad but I know this food well and I love it. The food was consistent, the host lady was hot and friendly and those burgers, you have to try one sometime. We waited in the bar for our order, there was some small delay and the bartender gave us free pop while we waited, I always loved that, I’ll be back.

Tandoori Grill Whistler4368 Main Street, 201, Whistler
amazing food

We got take-out for 4, 4 entrees, 2 rice and 2 garlic nan and it was over 75 bucks but well worth it. The curries were so good i licked the sauce with my finger to make sure there was non left. The tandoori lanb was juicy and full of flavour, everything was excellent for take-out Indian food, again while we waited for our food there were delivery drivers in and out and one i reconized one driver from the pizza shop accross the street from the other day. Delivery must be popular in Whistler as our group only does takeout from restaurants and we have been to 6 different restaurants in 3 days for take-out and we saw delivery drivers at 5 of them, I love Whistler and more reviews to come.

Fat Tony's Pizza4122 Village Green, #11, Whistler
Slices without a smile
Submitted Friday, February 20, 2009 - 5:29am [Dine in]

We grabbed a few slices during our stay and they were old and cold, the lady was rude and in general it seemed they didn't want our business. The pizza seemed like over priced Vancouver slice pizza you get for a dollar a slice. The actual restaurant was dirty, stuff everywhere and it smelled like urine outside. I would not go back or reccommend this place to anyone.

Panoli's Pizzeria & Rotisserie4369 Main Street, 10, Whistler
A take-out shop that rocks

We were up in Whistler last weekend and stayed at the Westin Hotel. We asked the concierge who has the best pizza in town and Panoli’s was the favorite from all 3 concierges. My buddies and I took walk over to main street that took way too long (easy to get lost in Whistler). Anyhow, we were greeted by a big smile and friendly voice with an Australian accent. The place is cool and looks great for a take-out restaurant but space is cramped, man they must do a ton of deliveries because at least 7 delivery drivers came in and out picking up orders while we waited for our pizza and the we heard the phones going non-stop. While waiting, I over heard 2 delivery people chatting about their sponsors, and as it turned they were pro snowboarders all I could think was how cool is Whistler as it is my dream to go pro and these guys were cool and simply put, you have to move here and be in the action.

Anyhow back to the food, after reading their big take-out menu we asked what were some of the better selling pizzas? The Chicken Hawaiian was recommended and supposedly this pizza is popular in Australia. So we ordered the Party size, wow this was huge, a square pizza that fed us 4 and another 3 or 4 easy if needed. We were told that everything is fresh and handmade using the finest cheeses while we ordered. The girl was so cool, she let us watch the pizza come out of the oven, it was literally sizzling as they put it in a box and cut it, we then grabbed a 12 pack and rushed back to the hotel. The pizza was amazing, crispy, lots of cheese and packed with pulled chicken, we all strongly recommend this place to any takeout lovers.
