LOVE this place for a late night meal. The portions are quite generous and the food is quite flavorful! The aromas of the fried rice, awesome soup base for the noodle soups, delicious snacks-- the Red Fermented Pork is a must try!!!( i know it sounds funny, but if you like BBQ pork, you'll love this!) Nicely greeted and seated once you enter... and their drinks are quite good too!!The slushes actually stay slushy and doesnt come to you half melted. Try the Lychee-Rose Slush~ its absolutely FLAVORFUL! I think this place is similar to pearl castle... but I would rather go here as I dont have to wait as long to get seated. Plus they have deep fried fish cake, which pearl castle always " run out" of.. The Ambiance is AMAZING! you get a feeling of relaxation and zen once you walk in. There;s a little japanese well right at the entrance, and the whole theme of the restaurant is just very nice! WELL DONE!
Totally recommended for Lunch and Dinner too! Not just a snack~
CUTE PLACE! and i must say, their dessert menu is absolutely AMAZING! full of pictures, great descriptions ...I usually have a hard time deciding on just ONE. They have these little tadpole jelly things that are suppose to be healthy for you... they dont taste like anything alone.. but paired with fruits and icecream.. it adds a nice crunchyness~ You gottta try to know what im talking about! Service was ok, its a small place and i guess it takes some time to make the desserts, but it's worth the wait. Love the ambiance, it's really cute... sometimes i wish I could take home their tables and chairs :P
Overall... if your looking for something DIFFERENT aside from ice-cream cones. gelatos, BBT etc.... Give this a try!
Im originally from vancouver, and just moved to langley this year and I'm still hunting around for great chinese eateries here ( Miss the ones back home)
First time here, and once I walked in... it was a GREAT first impression! This place is NICE!
We were seated right away, and the first thing you notice is the little dim-sum carts rolling around. Thats how I like to eat my dim-sum... I liked to order what LOOKS good, and not have to wait for it to be cooked. It's on your table once you point to it. SO Far So Good.... then we decided to get some pan-fried dishes. I have to say I've had better elsewhere in Langley. There;s not enough " wok-power" or as we call it in chinese " wok'hay" in the food! The flavor's not there, and it's just very ... bland. It's not HORRIBLE.. but it needs some work. Dim-sum's great! the prices are a little above average... but I guess you pay for the nice ambiance of the restaurant as well. We Had to ask for tea a couple times before we got it, and the bill as well. Hey! if they didnt want us to pay... thats fine with me :)
Over-all.... Recommended for dim-sum only !! Try dinner else-where!
