I decided to try the Himalayan Peak after a co-worker recommended it.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and it was better value than I had anticipated.
The food was delicious, hot and sizzling when we ordered it - a bit of a wait to get to our table but I did enjoy everything. The butter chicken was my favourite, not too spicy and not sweet like I have tried at other restaurants (I hate it when it is sweet). The Lamb kababs were tender and juicy with lots of flavour.
The restaurant itself is nice with a very warm feeling, unfortunately it was too cool to use the patio that day and they didn't have patio heaters, but perhaps another night.
Staff was friendly and helpful in making suggestions. Value on the dinner selections was pretty good - but they had really cheap drinks, appetisers (two samossas in chick pea sauce) was also cheap, and desserts were also relatively a good value.
I'd go to far as to say it was a perfect meal. I'll re-visit it again.

I like my food spicy and I can handle very hot dishes but I have to say that they went overboard when we ate there, it was actually like they spilled extra chillies into our dish and served it anyway.
The food was not bad, we had the coconut green curry and the pad thai noodles with a side serving of steamed rice. Overall the dishes were ok, not the best thai food that I had, not the worst... other than the food being incredibly hot, the noodles were a bit mushy - my wife likes them that way but I'm not a huge fan.
The area is a bit dodgey but I thought it added to the atmosphere - however, given the neighborhood I was hoping for a cheaper meal - it was reasonably priced but I wouldn't say great value.
Worth a try - not the best - but good enough to return.

I'm not a big fan of chain restaurants and I have to say that Milestones is at the bottom of the list of them. The food is pretty average and because of that, their value is mediocre... not as bad as cactus club but getting up there. I will say that their drink specials are reasonable and their upstairs lounge is like a separate restaurant with more of a bar type of a feel - which is quite nice.
The biggest complaint is lack of selection on their menu.
On the positives the atmosphere is nice and the service was solid and fortunately the servers were just that, servers, not raunched up exploited women like you see elswhere.
Milestones would rank better in my books if it just had better selection and better tasting food. I hope it changes because their locations are nice.
