Great Pasta at Great Price
Submitted Saturday, November 10, 2007 - 7:43pm [Dine in]

This restarurant is very consistant: Everytime I go there I always enjoy the delicious taste from the foods. The pasta have good portion and is well price. The service is great and the staff are very inviting and friendly. The only thing this restaurant need is a makeover as it appears old and outdated inside but it was okay for me as I rather pay a friendly price on food then having high end decor.

2 Words: RIP OFF

This place is WAY over price for what the food is really. It is overrated in my opinion and probably a tourist traped due to the name of the restaurant. The only great thing about this miniature restaurant is the ambiance, the decor and the setting. I had the Cesar salad which was good but for 3 sleves of lettuce with a asking price of $10: this was a real rip off. The entree: I try the famous Burger at $16 which beyong: Failed to impress me: I had to send it back due to meat that was undercooked: When I received it back it was the same with a little improvement but to fing my bread soak in the red blood from the burger who was still undercooked: Everybody have to know that burger meat need to be cooked throuthly: well over there they don't apparently. Barely eat it: It was disgusting. My husband had the Rigatoni for $19 which was an heavy meal made with rich food to enhance flavour I assume. You are better of to go to L'Artista Restaurante if you which to have great pasta at a decent price. For the Burger, there is a place call Burger etc. in Burnaby and it is much better at the friendly price. Expected the unexpected at Feenie's: I would definetly not recommend at all. This place is a money grab.

This place doesn't have much of an ambience but the food is GREAT. The sunshine roll is absolutely fantastic. The service is quite fast and the price is okay. They really have a lot of different choice of rolls that are spectacular. Other that the table being too close from each other this restaurant is excellent.

I went to that restarurant for a birthday dinner with 8 others peoples. I was not impressed with the choice of foods on the menu and barely was able to make up my mind on what to get as the menu look so unappetising to say the least. I choose the chicken which was very rich and heavy. We had a birthday cake that was brought by one of the people I was was enjoying the companies I was taking my time to eat the piece of cake I had but the server keep coming to me and asking: Are you done yet? I say no; I am still eating but 3 minutes later as I had a few bit left on my plate and she came back to me to take my plate away and I was not done: I had to shove the rest of the cake down my throte as she was taking the plate away: What is with that?
On top of this fiasco and unpleasant service: we had to pay 18% gratuity witch is undersatndable since we are a large parties and all the restaurant are the same but the thing I was irritated by was the fact that on the bill it say: Gratuity not included: How can it be: They just add 18% right there on the bill: I don't like being trick when going to a restaurant and the fact that the server didn't tell us to forget about the mention: Gratuity not included since IT is included really bother me. There is way better out there for restaurant: My suggestion: Avoid it.

Expensive......what else?
Submitted Sunday, November 4, 2007 - 6:18pm [Dine in]

I am use to spending important amount of money when I go for dinner and I am use to getting very good foods for these price but last night it was the first time for me at Morton and I left disapointed to say the least. The wine list: If you can't spend $62 or up on a bottle of wine this restaurant is not for you. I didn't appreciate the fact that the price of wine for a bottle start at $62. i had the fillet mignon and it was overcooked: This 8 once fillet was $44. The appetizer was good we had the Alexander Colossal Shrimp which were $18 for 3 shrimps. Ruth Chris is better and cheaper but unfortunately no restaruant in B.C.
