I've been to Jamaica, lived in Toronto where there are plentiful jerk spots, but in Vancouver there is only one place that actually has authentic Jamaican cuisine. Bounty serves up a massive plate of coconut rice, coleslaw and a plentiful amount of tantalizing jerk chicken. Bounty does it right just like in Jamaica, whereas all the other places I've tried in the city do not use real jerking methods. The service is great and always with a smile and the ambiance cannot be beat. It may not be everyones cup of tea, but sitting at the bar chatting with the staff and other customers reminds me of being back in paradise.
