Well Ive spent a great deal of time living in Rome so I know whats good gelato and whats bad. This place is the closest you are going to get to real authentic Italian gelato anywhere in Vancouver. The smoothness and the creaminess is very good. Not too icy and not to powdery, just the right blend. Its hard to replicate authentic gelato from Italy but this place is almost there. The only thing I would like to see is a few more of the classic Italian flavors like Amaretto and Stracciatella. Other than that this place is worth the trip and worthy of a good review. Cheers.

"ALL ABOARD ON THE MANGIA CAKE TRAIN"
Any reviews you see about this place is not by any Italians cause no Italians eat here. This is a mangia cake style Italian restaurant. Would you go to eat at a Greek restaurant owned by Somalians? This place is packed with people with absolutely no idea what real Italian pasta tastes like. Calling this authentic Italian pasta is like calling chef Boyardee authentic lol. People go cause they get a 12 dollar packed plate of pasta, which only is about 1 dollar worth of pasta at the very most. Canadians love their portions.
Do yourself a favor and go eat some real Italian. Go to Cioppino's on Hamilton or to the Italian kitchen on Alberni street (northern Italian food).
What am I gonna hear next, Canadians raving about the old spaghetti factory. Mah Forget about it.
