Good times, better times with music
Submitted Thursday, December 6, 2007 - 1:12pm [Dine in]

The Atlantic Trap & Gill is a fun, very-friendly pub that really shines on nights when there's live music.

Both of our times here were when Copper Sky were playing, and the atmosphere was incredibly lively and fun. Be sure to arrive early on live music nights, as seats fill up in no time. The food is average, and the drinks are great and reasonably priced.

Overall, the atmosphere and the friendliness of the people are what make the place great. I'd definitely recommend it as a good place to stop for a round and some appetizers...

Great Greek
Submitted Wednesday, December 5, 2007 - 12:40am [Dine in]

Been to the Original Greek Restaurant a few times now, and can say that the food is consistently excellent. The lamb in particular is some of the best I've had at any restaurant. Service is great, and the atmosphere is average, nothing notable.

For decent priced, good quality Greek food, this is a great place to go.

Avoid, avoid, avoid...

To begin with, the water they serve you in the glass is a healthy looking brown colour. Yum. The food is bland and unremarkable, and the service is bare minimum. Also, if you speak only English, good luck receiving a proper order or effective service.

An overall good place...
Submitted Tuesday, December 4, 2007 - 8:28pm [Dine in]

We've been to this ABC many times, and found that everything with it is consistent. The quality of the food, the service, and the atmosphere.

The food is always good, but not exceptional or notable. The servers are friendly and prompt, but can get busy or stretched thin at times. The atmosphere is mature, conservative, and takes no chances.

Generally, if you're looking for good food, at a quiet place with good service, this ABC is a good option.

Decent food, if get served at all...
Submitted Tuesday, December 4, 2007 - 8:20pm [Dine in]

We've been to BP at Ackroyd a few times, and the food is consistently average, and the atmosphere is bustling and sporty.

The major failing is in the service. We've had instances of being seated and having to wait 15 mins to have our order taken, even when we hail someone. Once, we walked in the doors to the counter, and ended up standing there for nearly 10 mins. The place wasn't busy at all either. Called the hostess to try to get seated, ignored some more. So we just left.

All in all, don't waste your time. Go somewhere else.

Absolutely Brilliant...
Submitted Tuesday, December 4, 2007 - 8:09pm [Dine in]

In looking for a quality, fine dining experience, I came across Restaurant Connor Butler. Seriously, I'm glad I did. The entire experience just outshone any we'd had before.

Our reservation was for the same night the snow storm came in. A few hours before, Connor himself called to see if we'd be okay to make it down there that evening, and to tell us to drive safe. When we arrived, our coats were promptly checked, and we were quickly seated. The dining area is a bit cozy, but has a great feel to it. The waiter, probably the nicest we've ever been served by, took our wine order. Connor came out of the kitchen to ask if we have any allergies or aversions, then brought us out a tray of deliscious appetizers. Our main courses were the Pork Filets and the Steak, which were equally amazing. Best made and presented steak I've had in a long time, if not the best ever.

Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere are just incredible. We'll definitely be heading back, and highly recommend Restaurant Connor Butler to others.
