I took my visiting in-laws from southern California to lunch here with the family. It was busy and service was brisk. The lunch menu had a variety of dishes, all at cheap prices. The meat and vegetable soup that came with the lunch special (about 8 bucks) was good, but the chicken was mostly fat and the fish and rice portions too small. We ended up ordering extra rice.

The service was below average - the waitresses kept forgetting to bring the extra rice and utensils that we had asked for (there were 6 of us). Also, my in-laws paid with US cash (at a one to one exchange rate), but were told that they needed to add more for a tip (Their intent was to tip after taking care of the bill first). This seemed a little on the rude side.

Perhaps with a better knowledge of the menu in question at this restaurant the food would have been better, but there are many better choices for service and food in this area of Richmond.
