Hmm.. Where's my $10?
Submitted Monday, February 28, 2011 - 5:58pm [Take-out]

Well, I have been here quite a few times.. I also bring my friends and family to this place because they are a pretty good pho restaurant among Richmond. Today I went there to pick up my take-out. I brought the 15% off coupon that they printed in the take-out menu. When I represented it to the cashier she says "No coupon, this is old coupon, it can't be used". Well, there's no expiry date on that coupon, but well, I won't argue.

My order was $7.50 + tax, = $8.40. I gave her a $20 bill. I was looking confused at the new take out menu, then she gave me back $1.60. She was holding a $10 in her hand. I told her I gave her a $20, then she said "oh I forgot, I thought you gave me a $10" and quickly gave me the $10 bill. I have a feeling that she must be thinking I was confused whether I paid $20 or $10, so she could keep my $10 if I didn't ask her.

I am not sure if I want to go back now.

Soup in the Beef Noodle soup was not good
Submitted Thursday, February 26, 2009 - 11:35pm [Dine in]

I had dined in here for a few times. The Viet Subs were up to par. The beef noodle soup wasn't good, the soup base was MSG? The herbs wasn't there. The ambiance is nice. It looks cleaner than Pho Lan in No. 3 road. I would make this only my last resort for Viet Pho.

I love Pho cuz it's a good comfort food and cheap too. But this is not the best Pho you get in Richmond. There are many other place which has better Beef Noodle, but for Viet Sub and rice combo, they are okay.
