I trashed this place a while back but I thought I'd give them another try.. I love BBQ and this place is so close to home.. Had the sampler again.. Ribs and Pulled pork.. Pulled pork was good, overly sweet sauce but Added some Vinegar and it was much better.. I'm not a huge lover of pulled pork, but this was as good as I've had elsewhere.. Ribs were good.. Tender this time so I suppose they were having an off day before.. The sauce works much better with the ribs, mostly because they finish the ribs on the grill.. caramalizes the sugar and makes it nice and pleasant.. Not at all traditional Que, but damn tasty.. Dissapointed with the Size though two ribs wasn't enough.. Sides were terrible but I don't go for sides.. Beans sucked and Potato Salad was flavorless.. having said that I like Heinz Baked beans and KFC potato salad so I'm far from a gourmand when it comes to those.. I stand by what I said about the Brisket before.. It IS beef dip meat.. infact they have a beef dip sandwich that has the same meat on it just without BBQ sauce.. I'm a brisket lover so Memphis Blues is the only place in town if you want brisket.. however if you aren't a BBQ purest or you think Montana's/Tony Roma's makes good ribs you won't be dissapointed in this place.. And I will be back.. For the Ribs..

Reading some of the reviews below I don't understand the description "Tastless" Umm you mean if you put some food in your mouth and you put some water in your mouth they'd taste the same? I digress.. Memphis Blues is THE standard for BBQ in this City.. The Brisket is incredible and the Ribs are really good.. I'm not a huge fan of the sides but the Cornbread is really good.. Lets face it though I'm not going for the beans or Slaw I'm going for the meat.. It's usually a little greasy but guess what.. it's freakin BBQ people.. if it ain't greasy then it'd be dry.. The only thing keeping Memphis from being truly exceptional is the sauce.. TOO heavy on the Molasses as one reviewer said, and the Ribs are ST. Louis cut side ribs.. Give me Baby Backs! I will continue to go back though.. as this is the only place in town that can do BBQ better than I can at home.. Probably has something to do with that $$$$ commercial smoker you guys have..
