A little gem!

I would actually go one step further than the previous review. Toyo makes way better sushi than I've found in Kits -- and for a reasonable price. Their yam and BC rolls are out of this world.
I've never had a chance to eat-in, but I can tell you their take-out is always done within 15-20 minutes and the food is fresh and meticulously made.
You will not be disappointed.

Wish we lived closer

We went out for dinner with some friends last week and were totally wowed. There were only a few tables, but the phones were ringing off the hook, so looks like these guys do a lot of take away business-- and no wonder! We ordered a couple of pizzas and a lasagna to share and it was amazing. You can definitely tell everything's house-made, as they claim in the menu. Started with a Greek salad which was the best I've ever had. So good we bought a bottle of the dressing to take home. Definitely not modern decor and the waitress was busy, but she was friendly and refilled our drinks all night. Too bad it's in Maple Ridge. Kits could really use a place like this!

Disappointing

I've eaten here a few times, and have been disappointed with each experience...the food has always been bland-- hot doesn't mean flavourful! the drinks were good, service ok, but unless you're going for the view and patio, skip it

Great Hangout

We checked out Yaggers on a quiet wednesday night and weren't sure about the place because the neighbourhood is just outside iffy, with the occasional homeless person walking by. But the drinks were awesome (if a bit pricey) and the food was totally solid. I had a grilled veggie sandwich with fries and hubby had fish and chips and everything was nicely presented and tasty. They had a game on so they had a few tables there to watch the game (I think they style themselves as a sports bar). Bottom line, it's a pub atmosphere with food superior to most pubs.
