After getting directions online, I found the place easily (although I nearly lost faith it was really there because the road looked like a dead end!). The Taverna has a whole renovated-warehouse vibe and would make a great place for a party! (A good place for larger groups too given its size.) But on a quiet'ish night, the place really does feel a little empty, especially with the factory-style lights buzzing noisily in the background.
We ordered the sausage appetizer and it was very delicious. The food followed promptly and I loved by prawn opa. My husband wasn't so keen on his spanokopita, but the side dishes (potatoes, salad, rice) keeps our overall rating high.
For dessert I ordered the cheesecake (1 of 3 options), and although I was skeptical at first (didn't look like a traditional cheesecake and kind of on the small'ish side for $5), it was really quite lovely!
All in all I would definitely come back for the food.
