Shanghai Wonderful Restaurant8380 Lansdowne Road, #110, Richmond
One of the best Shanghai food you can find in town
Submitted Tuesday, June 23, 2009 - 3:51pm [Dine in]

This is definitely one of the finest Shanghaiese crusine in town. I especially like their steamed stuffed duck, Shanghai small dragon bun, plus the Shanghai fried noodle. Pricing is definitely a bit on the high side though, but the food you get is of top Shanghaiese quality. Just check out the customers of this restaurant, I would think most of the Shanghaiese would rank this restaurant very high on their list. Make sure you make reservation, and even that sometime require quite a long wait time. Also, prepare to speak Mandarin in this restaurant, their servers are not very fluent in English. Pretty common for good Chinese restaurant in the Richmond area.

Great place to enjoy Malaysia and Singapore food
Submitted Tuesday, June 23, 2009 - 3:44pm [Dine in]

This truly is one of the finest dining place for Malaysia, Indoesnia and SIngapore food in town. I especially enjoy their pineapple fired rice, the deep fired fish and also the tasty skewers (beef, chicken, pork and lamb chop). Pricing is quite affordable, the only gripe that I have is that their live seafood seems to be over-priced when compared to other top Chinese seafood restaurant. Otherwise, the service is both quick and friendly. Another thing to be aware of is that they don't take VISA, make sure that you have other alternative payment methods like AMEX, MASTERCARD etc

This is easily one of the very best Chinese restaurant in Vanocuver
Submitted Tuesday, June 23, 2009 - 3:29pm [Dine in]

This truly is one of the finest Chinese restaurant in Vanocuver, both for dim sum and fine Chinese dining. You will not be disappointed by it. Just try to get a table during lunch on the weekend even with reservation, the ones who get a table after waiting for easily 40 minutes is like winning a lottery. The food taste good and is very fresh. What amaze me the most is the consistency of the food quality this restaurant is able to serve up daily. It doesn't matter if they have a wedding banquet going on, and you are dinning at the same time. The same dish taste exactly the same no matter the circumstances. I highly recommend this Chinese seafood restaurant

Overall very solid Chinese restaurant
Submitted Tuesday, June 23, 2009 - 3:22pm [Dine in]

I tried both their dim sum for lunch and the all you can eat hot pot for dinner many many times. The pricing is very good since I got the topgun gold card so I always have 20% off. The food esp all you can eat hotpot is very solid. It only cost 20 bucks per person. Food is both fresh and tasty. I always ended up eating so much that I don't even need to eat a lot the next day. It is just one of my favourite Chinese restaurant in the Metrotown area.

Won't go back anymore
Submitted Tuesday, June 23, 2009 - 12:56pm [Dine in]

I live very close to the Amorosa Pasta House and one day finally decided to try this place out after reading reviews on here. All I can say is that there is no pleasant surprise at all, the only good thing about the food is just the portion. Since I am not that big of a fan for Pasta to start with, I find the food to be just barely ok. I wont go back anymore, there are many more better restaurants in that area to eat out.
