(4.5) (4.5) (4.5) (3.5)This was a great place to eat. The service was prompt, and they kept coming around to keep our hot tea filled, and check on us. The atmosphere was great, with a contemporary, Asian decor and soothing Japanese music playing.
Oh yeah, the food... We ordered the Chicken Katsu and Tempura Bento Boxes, as well as California, Shrimp Tempura, and Dynamite sushi rolls. All of the food was great, but the Dynamite Roll was, well Dynamite!
It was so good, we ordered a 2nd Dynamite Roll for the family to share before we could leave.
We found the "Honeybun Cafe" while strolling down Yates street looking for breakfast. They had a nice selection of traditional breakfast dishes, and the service and price were outstanding.
The place appears to cater to the local crowd, since it has something for everyone (including Chinese food - only a block from China town).
We noticed it because all of the tables were filled with customers, and we were not disappointed. Great find.
