We were looking for a good Thai restaurant for some time now and we are glad to come and try Sookjay.
Great food! There Krathong thong (appetizer) - pardon me for the spelling - is so good that I am craving for it while I am writing this review. The Tom Yum soup is so tasty - yum! yum! And the coconut rice is so perfect for the sweet chili fish fillet. I will go back for the food. Definitely!
The server is great, very efficient and friendly. I commend her for being the only person waiting for four tables that night. Value is very reasonable.
The ambiance is so Thai! I would recommend this place to my friends.

One sunny lunchtime, we were walking down the street and saw the menu of Pescatore's posted outside the restaurant. We were kind of intrigued with how the dishes was described. So we went in and was greeted by a very friendly greeter. She showed us in and referred to a warm waiter. We were seated right away as it was still early. Anyway to make the story short. We tried the soup sampler as suggested by the nice waiter who so patiently explained to what is recommended. We had clam chowder and lobster bisque. It turned out very tasty!
Then for the main dish we had a burger with fries (playing safe there) and a salmon on a cedar plank over pea risotto. Although the burger was burnt and tasted somewhat bitter (maybe we should have not ordered it well done), the salmon was perfect. We enjoyed the salmon more than the burger. It was a lesson to learn, next time we venture for more adventurous dish.
The service was very good and the place is very comfortable for a place to rest after a long walk.
Overall good food. Good service. I am glad we had that spontaneous decision to go in and check it out.

We went to this restaurant after reading several reviews.
We liked the food - paella and sirloin skewers. Although the beef were a little overcooked, we liked it combined with hummus and pita bread with the double baked potatoes - yum! The paella was simply tasty and satisfying!
The waiters were very friendly and they were polite enough to ask us a couple of times if we need anything.
The value for us is reasonable for the size of serving.
We liked the ambiance, a feel of the mediterranean.
