Party of five at 6:30 on a Saturday night. We had 5 different dishes, rice and naan, plus a couple of cocktails and a lassi. Every dish was excellent, amone the best I've had in the Lower Mainland! T
All together, the bill was about $100. The portions were fine, but not huge. Service was attentive and pleasant.
Went there this evening with some friends after reading the reviews from this site. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire meal. It wasn't busy, as it was a Monday evening but the service was still excellent and the food came out quickly. All the dishes we tried were tasty and the martinis were delicious too.
I come to this restaurant every weekend so often for lunch. Their food is good, decently priced, quick, and always warms your tummy. I always order the xiao long bao (staple item), beef wrapped in onion pancake, wontons in sweet and spicy sauce (the wontons itself is nothing special but the sauce is so good), and noodles (either the Dan Dan noodles or the pork chop noodles). Whenever I crave Shanghai food, I always come to this place
I came here on a Tuesday afternoon at around 2:00pm and this place was packed (almost full for a big restaurant on weekday) which is a good sign. As I know there are more than 10 vietnamese restaurant in this area, but I found PHO 99 have a good selection of Pho and many main dishes such as: sandwiches, seafood noodle, chicken wings, combo roll and pork chop rice…ect. the value was excellent and the service was fairly prompt. The waitress was surprised that we (Caucasians) for a group of 8 people were using chop sticks rather than forks. We ordered a little bit of everything to try out. Everybody love this place.– food are fresh, big free parking at the back, inside is so clean and consistent - competitive pricing and tasty. Highly Recommended!
