Best for take-out

The service when you eat in is lacking...even if you're the only one in there. We get takeout from here quite often. The ownership has changed hands and we're finding that we get a lot more food for relatively the same price as before. The food taste is still really good. I love their naan bread here.

I love their selection of wines. Really nice spread of food and everything is creatively tasty. I go there for family dinners and they usually give us a room all to ourselves and close the curtains to block out the noise from the rest of the restaurant, which is very courteous. The lighting is very dim, and my grandmother usually requests that someone turn them up a bit so she can read her menu. I love eating there, but I always feel like I'm in a bathroom or something. The place seems very cold and almost like I'd expect to hear an echo of myself. But...it could just be the room we're always seated in, because all of my friends love the place.

The rolls here are the best I've had *anywhere*! I eat here quite a lot and the food is consistently great. Their soups are wonderfully load with vegetables. Their ebi sunomuno is actually ebi instead of prawn. Their sashimi is wild salmon and really fresh.
Their service can be a little dodgy because they get SO busy and they're a tiny place. But it's a cozy wait and the tea's wonderful to sip on.
I don't know what the comment about not having many Japanese chefs was about. I'm pretty sure everyone there is Japanese except for one waitress...they all speak it to each other while they make your rolls in front of you.
