chacun a son gout....

We eat here regularly and have never been disappointed. Fresh food, freshly prepared, simply yet artfully presented, and consistent in quality, this is French country cooking without pretension yet with panache. Chef’s seafood dishes are always excellent and reflect the season. Some menu items are staples and others change according to availability and chef’s fancy. The lamb is fabulous! The wait staff are knowledgeable and efficient; they are friendly and helpful without being fawning or obsequious. Staff and chef are low-key with quirky senses of humour, and they never overshadow the main reason for being there: good food in comfortable surroundings. If you are used to eating in Vancouver, you will find the prices very reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food. It’s a relaxed, warm place to enjoy very good food at a decent price.
