I have been going to Vi-La for at least two years. The have wonderful soups, and combination type plates, salad rolls and more. We have our favourites and pretty much order the same things time and again. It's a family owned business with the daughters as servers most of the time. They know you when you walk in and the food is always consistant - delicious - and fresh. It's what you would call a little hole in the wall - with great food. Try it I know you'll love it.
*** Double check their location before you go because the are moving to a new location in June of 2011
Out for our weekly date nite - we went here because I had seen it mentioned on this site with fairly good reviews. The restaurant is really cute - BUT the food not up to par and not authentic for sure. My boyfriend who has eaten alot of indian was not impressed when he saw the Onion Bhajia - they were onion rings, and not good at that. The butter chicken base was campbells tomato soup - he watched me eat it to see if I would notice, it was unmistakable. The Aloo Gobhi was just fine. The onion naan was so salty on top I couldn't even eat it. On the upside our server was really great, and like I said the decor is cute. Otherwise it needs some work.
