I never had the pleasure of eating at this chain but I just went there last night for dinner and drinks with three friends. plus the hot wait staff (which is always a plus), their dinner menu and wine list was solid. We had the fish and requested rice with mushrooms and it came out better than expected.
As for the hot wait staff, pure glory in short skirts. Who doesn't like good food, good drinks and an engaging waitress that you engage in idle chitchat when they are so attractive? Looks like they are going to be my new favourite chain. Worth the money and tip extra.
There isn't an up-to-date review of this branch so I am writing one. Normally I would say I am a big fan of Earls. I have been to different locations and usually very enjoyed their food and drinks, and taken in the atmosphere including the gorgeous ladies in their tight skirts.
It was a disappointment to step into the Richmond location and be shown to the booth. The staff is dressed very much as you would expect at any chain restaurant. This is not the Earls of downtown Vancouver. Too bad. The food was good as usual, but since Earls charges more than the average I expect the staff and ambience to be excellent too. I am not sure what else to say. The chicken was good, the salad tasty and quite honestly the place was super clean. It's just that we were looking for the Earls experience and we didn't get it here. We didnt bother ordering drinks as this location doesn't really invite lounging. Good for a quick meal though
