Not too shabby
Submitted Saturday, November 22, 2008 - 4:57pm [Dine in]

I hadn't been here for a while so I figured it was worth checking out again.

Our waitress seemed like she couldn't really care less but she didn't give bad service. I didn't actually like the bbq chicken sandwich I ordered. The quality of the chicken wasn't that good. But the fries they serve with the meal are tasty.

The bf had the seafood pasta and he really liked his meal. I think I just should have got something else.

Overall, I may come here again to watch the game or if they show the UFC fights as they have pretty big TV screens and the restaurant is nice but I doubt that I'd go back for lunch again.

Another thing I noticed is that they don't have the different kinds of hot sauces all over the tables and the ledges anymore. You have to pay for them at the front. On the tables now is their "signature" hot sauce, which from what I see is the only kind you can get with your meal.

Good food at OSF
Submitted Saturday, November 22, 2008 - 4:47pm [Dine in]

Took the bf there for the first time and we had to wait in the lounge for about half hour before we could get to our table. It wasn't bad but we didn't like how we had to pay for our drinks first and then pay for our meal later.

Service was dreadful -- we had issues asking for anything and it seems like it was stressful to our server since it was so busy. Our meals came and the food was excellent. It's usual OSF pasta but we really liked our meals. That location around dinnertime is a madhouse but it still seemed as though other tables around us got much better service.

Awesome take out
Submitted Saturday, November 22, 2008 - 4:42pm [Dine in]

We have yet to dine in but we have ordered take out twice.

The food was better the second time we went but we have received great service both times. They gave us 10% off our orders and a $8 off dine-in coupon. I know this spot is family run so it appears they take some pride in their service.

I would say that it's more expensive if you are comparing it to say Stephos, but the food is really good quality. I had the beef souvlaki and the bf had the prawn souvlaki. We shared saganaki as an appetizer and it was delicious.

Second time around they made a mistake on my meal and I ordered just a one skewer meal but they gave me two. The leftovers were still good for lunch the next day.

Consistent and tasty!
Submitted Saturday, November 22, 2008 - 4:36pm [Dine in]

We like Kura because it's close to home and one of the only Japanese owned sushi places around. The owner always says hello to me and the food has been above average every time. Service hasn't always been up to par but everything else for me makes up for it.

Their huge menu always makes it easy to try new things every time you go. We will go back and recommend this spot for dining in.

Really good take out
Submitted Saturday, November 22, 2008 - 4:32pm [Dine in]

Had a great experience ordering on the phone. The guy was polite and told me that they would deliver out to Central Park area without a delivery charge. No problem with substitutions and the delivery was there before the ETA.

Pizzas were delicious and made great leftovers the next day. We will definitely order take out from Round House again.

Try the pasta
Submitted Friday, October 24, 2008 - 11:27pm [Dine in]

We felt like Italian tonight so instead of the big chains we tried Papa Dave's. The portions are very good -- we both have lunch for tomorrow and the garlic toast was tasty. The sauce that comes with the lasagna and spaghetti (lean meat sauce they call it) has a nice kick to it. It's a hearty sauce which is probably why we got as full as we did.

We are both happily stuffed for $20 all in. Next time we are going to try the pizza, which we know is already really good.

Great take out experience
Submitted Friday, October 24, 2008 - 7:39pm [Dine in]

We decided to try take out from this place and were pleasantly surprised. We placed our order and received friendly service over the phone. They told us it would take 30-40 minutes but it only took 20 minutes to get to my door!

Lots of fresh veggies. the bf loved the shrimp fried rice and the shrimp rolls. I loved the noodles. They also come in these great take out containers that you can use again. Only downside is that the food was a little too oily for my liking, but still really tasty. We'll probably pick this place again for Chinese. They also have a pretty good website where we were able to see their menu.
