My boyfriend and I went to this Ricky's mostly out of desperation. We were fed us with everything else close by and were very pleasantly surprised with the experience.
We were quickly seated by a friendly and hospitable young lady who was attentive and made a great Shirley Temple. We shared the steak and full rack of BBQ ribs along with curly fries and a ceasar salad. Other than the sides being a bit too small for two people to share [which is understandable] our meal was excellent. The food arrived in a timely manner, our steak was a perfect medium rare and the ribs were tender but with a bit too much sauce for my liking. The only thing truly terrible about the place is the atmosphere. The place is outdated, ugly and utterly tasteless. The only redeeming point is how comfortable it feels. The booths are great and this is definitely a place you could go in your pajamas without feeling too out of place. Overall, very low key and unassuming.
Altogether our bill came to $41 for steak, ribs, ceasar salad, curly fries, one Shirley Temple and a bottle of Smirnoff Ice. We were completely satisfied and plan to return.
