I have been visiting this AYCE ($11) place since they opened a few years ago and they have a winning combination of food selection, decor, service and most importantly the food taste.
Its way better than other Indian restaurants I have visited like Maurya, New India, Samosa Garden etc.
Their signature dish is also my favorite - Butter Chicken. The selection includes tasty curries, savoury bites, desserts, fruits and salads. The curry dishes are quite mild compared to traditional Indian standards, but I guess thats to accommodate their diverse clientele.
Their high overall quality has remained consistent over the years and I would not hesitate to recommend this place!!

This Metrotown restaurant is the only remaining Uncle Willy's in town. Its an AYCE and is one of the best value places I know in the greater Vancouver area. You get a huge selection of fresh and tasty foods, salads, drinks (excl alcohol) and desserts including soft serve ice cream. The decor and interior is clean but has seen better days - though the food taste, selection, service and price more than make up for this.
You can go to the Metropolis Food court where a basic fast food meal and soda would set you back about $6 - but why bother when you can have all the above for $3 more!!!
I would definitely recommend this place.

I visit the place regularly as its one of the above average Japanese AYCE restaurants. Its better than Sha Bu Sen and much better than Tanpopo or Su Sha Ya. I have been visiting the place since they first opened a few years ago and the food quality has remained consistently
good (Thankfully!) I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

My wife & I decided to try this AYCE for a Sunday Lunch yesterday (24 Feb 2008). Our expectations rose when we joined a long queue of patrons waiting patiently to be seated, only to be sorely disappointed once we were seated.
The waiter was quite helpful BUT:
The food portions for the terriyaki were tiny.
The Chicken Terriyaki had lots of bones.
The Fish Terriyaki tasted more like spam.
The Beef Terriyaki was cold.
The maki / rolls we ordered were never even served, even after asking our waiter for them.
The list goes on, and it seems that even our neighbouring tables got the same treatment.
Verdict: I will never go to this place again. Period!
