I am a huge fan of mexican restaurants, however I was very disappointed with my experience at this particular establishment. One thing that distinguishes this mexican restaurant from others is that they do not offer complimentary salsa and chips which is usually the standard. This aside, we ordered the 8.99 order of jalepeno poppers only to find that the order is made up of only 4 small fried poppers, the same poppers that you can purchase at Costco in a bulk pack for around $10. My group was disappointed in the food quality as well as the quantity and I was embarassed for having suggested this restaurant. The refried beans were not properly prepared and instead looked as if they had been poured directly from the can and heated up. Most people in my group left their plates mostly full at the end.
On top of this, the service was poor - and I agree with the other comments as I had a similar experience when I inquired about the suprisingly small portions and the waitress laughed and walked away. Hopefully by posting this I can help someone else refrain from having the same lousy experience.
