This establishment has major issues in the cleanliness (i.e. dirty plates), service (slow, grossly inaccurate, serious English issues) and ambiance categories. Their Coquitlam location is marginally better, save for the English issues. If you're looking for all-you-can-eat sushi at lunchtime in the Metrotown area, you're far better off spending the extra $2 and hitting up Fish on Rice. The sushi and sashimi themselves were passable at best. Beware that even in this day and age this place is cash only. The sign behind the cash reminding employees not to drink pop, only water, while on shift was a touch of class. Washrooms were a health hazard. Fraser Health will have a field day here. Avoid.

This is a great lunch spot - very fresh sandwiches made to order, good selection of coffees and outstanding soup. A low-key place; family-owned with very friendly service. Interesting decor with signed photos of the numerous celebrities who have patronized the Cafe in the past. Highly recommended.
