Brunch a la Galerie @ Autumn Brook Gallery1545 West 4th Avenue, Vancouver
Solid Brunch Experience at an Art Gallery
Submitted Wednesday, July 2, 2008 - 4:41pm [Dine in]

I happened on this brunch place in an art gallery near Granville Island on the weekend. What a novel concept, and a very comfortable elegance and feel with the seating in the front section of a larger gallery space - very cool! Apparently they just started doing the brunch on the weekends as a way to get more visitors to the gallery. The Eggs Florentine was delicious and the coffee was very descent. There was a nice assortment of very small portions of roasted potatoes, a few fruit slices, and some mixed salads which made the entree a nice brunch with some variety. For $12.50 it was a darn descent meal. There was an emphasis on organic meats, eggs, and vegetables. For a new place they had a great brunch offering.

A Must Visit Restaurant
Submitted Wednesday, July 2, 2008 - 4:04pm [Dine in]

If there's any place to show off Vancouver's cuisine and scenery to visitors this is definitely near the top of the list. The feel and ambiance is incredible. Everything was executed exceptionally well. The pan seared scallops were perfection, the sauce complimenting the ahi tuna was delicious, and the sorbet was very well done. Our guests were delighted and everyone only had superlatives about the experience.

Great Restaurant all Round

Robson Street has a nice energy and buzz and on a warm evening with good food, it's a nice slice of life. Took my mother to Zefferelli's for her birthday at the recommendation of a coworker. Very nice ambiance, very decent food, and prompt service. My mother enjoyed the the food too. I'll be going back. Al dente the way it should be with their pasta dishes.
