Pretty good but not outstanding.

Went for a business lunch last week, ordered the lunch special. Sorry but I might have to disagree with some of the reviwers here. I find that the sashimi is not as fresh as I would expect it to be, as a matter of fact, one of the pieces actually tasted awful as soon as I put that into my mouth. Probably just that once piece. I find that most of the sashimi is a tat too dry, hence not fresh. The tempura is okay. Ambiance is not bad, a bit too dark to my liking and feels like medium class restaurant type.
Unfortunately, I will not give it a good rep, generally a solid performer but not outstanding.

When you drive pass, there is a big SUSHI sign on the wall. I wonder if this is "Village Sushi". Ohh yes, it is. Ok, let's give it a try since the previous reviwer gave it a good rep.

A small sushi shop with a few tables. Japanes husband and wife business like sushi place. We ordered a few different dinner special - Sushi Special (varieties of Califonia roll, sushi), Misho Ramen, Katsu Don. The Califonia roll is fresh and tasty, especially the chef special mango califonia roll, very unique and special. The miso ramen is just nice, noodle is cooked to the right level, the miso soup is tasty however I find it a bit salty. The Katso Don is very nice and authentic, rice is cooked to the right level and it taste really good. Service is good, we had different bowl for sharing different dishes. Tea is nice and they are authentic green tea. The ambieance is okay but perhaps can be better. Looking at the shelves in the kitchen, you can tell the chef is using the japanes products to prepare the sushi.

Overall, we are happy with it. The price is right, not too cheap and not very expensive. We will not hesitate to go back again.
I would recommend this place if you want a quick feed with some good quality tasty sushi. Other dishes are available on the menu as well. Thumbs Up.

Don't get me wrong, 3 starts rating = solid. 4 starts = outstanding.

I can only comment on what I ordered and what I've tasted. Ordered some take aways for lunch the other day. 4 rolls all together. The rolls are hand made and not machine made, pretty fresh and everything are just nice, better than a lot of shops and foodcourt out there. Price is consider reasonable, not cheap and not extremely expensive. Ambiance is okay but can be improved, especially the ventilation system. I was only there for 10-15 minutes waiting for my take away and my jacket was already smelly by the time I walk out. Overall, solid but has room for improvement. Recommended if you want something decent to eat and your money well spend.

Went there on the weekend to have a nice dinning with the Mrs. If you didn't make reservation, don't bother going because this place is packed. Well, luckily we did.. Only a reason the explain why this restaurant is packed. Either the food is good or the price is cheap. Well, definately not the latter. If you are looking for AYCE, this is not the place for you.

Parking is easy. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted and led to a table. I already saw a few japanese customer sitting at the sushi bar and the chef (looks like japanese) were busy preparing the food. We sat down and were served with green tea. The tea is okay but not the top. We decided to order a few different dishes to try it out. The ramen was delicious and tasty, but the serve is small. The okonomuiyaki(aka Japanese pancake) was above average, better than a lot out there. The sushi is the best I've tasted so far, especially the Seto Spider Roll. The sashimi were fresh but probably not worth what you pay for, quality is there but not the quantity. The ambiance is okay, a bit too small and the ceiling needs to be cleaned.

Overall, not bad. Food is good, better than a lot out there however not topnotch. Good and fast service. A tad to expensive for what it's worth. Will probably go back there to check out other dishes.

Went to the pier with the family one weekend, walked pass and decided to give it a try. Well.. As soon as we walked in, I knew we made the wrong decision, it looks like one of those Japanese restaurant that runs by non-japanese owner. The chef and the waitress spoke loudly in mandarin. Anyway..

We didn't go for AYCE, we ordered some sushi from the À la carte menu and lunch special menu. The sushi was below average, the serve were small. (though it look good in the menu). The ambiance was okay but a bit too dark to my liking. Only one thing good about this place. The service is fast, probably there are not many customers around.

Probably won't go back there again. Don't want to waste my money on crappy food.
