Our server was nice but dropped some salsa on our laps and the accompanying taco salad left much to be desired. The salad was simple and bland, eventhough it came with guacamole and cost us upwards of 14 smackers.
I did have the classic canadian pizza, and it actually wasn't half bad, but was very cheesy, greasy and meaty. Since we're not boozers either, we weren't able to drown out the greasiness with beer, so water became my best friend.
I would say this place is okay, but the menu items are over-priced now and the quality has diminished somewhat. The only reason we stopped by here was because of those Howie Mandel commercials and because it was on the way home late at night.
Sorry, but this place is harmful to your wallet and your health.

We certainly were not full after slurping down two bowls of Ramen called Nagahama ramen and Miso tonkotsu ramen. We were actually a little disappointed with the lack of flavour and substance in these items. But comparing to the distance required to go to a downtown ramenya and the likelihood of overcrowding and long wait-lines, I would go back to Menya, simply because of its proximity to where we live. The gyoza wasn't so-so bad either.
Although I appreciate the effort of Menya to create an authentic tonkotsu ramen dish, I wish they would have used more to create a thicker soup base. It would have made the experience all the more enjoyable.
