(3.3) (4) (3) (3.3) (2.7)I've been to the Five Point many times over my time working in the area and much like other reviewers have commented, things have always been pretty consistent.
The food is pretty good, though lately I've noticed the plates and glasses used are unclean, and take away from the usually decent quality food. The service is typically pretty good... they're on the ball refilling your drinks and ensuring the food is out in a timely fashion.
My two major beefs: ambiance is horrible (I know they're upgrading right now, so I'm excited to see how things change), and the glasses of beer are just too small. My advice, brighten the place up a bit (and modernize), and get some real pint glasses in there. The sleeves just aren't big enough for those harder Fridays.
I have to say I think the food at The Well easily trumps every other place I've been to in the area. It's some of the tastiest, most good-looking food I've had the pleasure to eat.
Sadly, I can't go here anymore for lunch because the service is just too slow. I can't seem to fit a visit to The Well within my work lunch hour due to the inattentive, slow service. Don't get me wrong, everyone I've chatted with there has been incredibly pleasant, just completely inefficient. If the level of service did happen to increase, I'd probably eat there everyday if I could.
Went to Take Sushi with the girlfriend a week ago and I was extremely impressed with both the quality of the sushi as well as the very attentive and pleasant staff just like every time I've been there prior.
The value is about average in terms of price, but the quality of the food is high enough that I don't mind paying a little bit extra than I would at some other sushi restaurants.
As others have mentioned, the decor seriously leaves something to be desired, but when you're filling your face with fish, you tend to ignore these things after a while.
So, if you're in the area for some reasonably priced, yet very tasty sushi, Take Sushi is the place to go.
