Old Spaghetti Factory53 Water Street, Vancouver
Worst Spaghetti Factory Location
Submitted Monday, June 4, 2012 - 8:04pm [Dine in]

Look it up: This is the 2nd most haunted place in North America

- had baby poop smell in different areas of the restaurant, even near the kitchen
- didn't give us the free ice cream at the end
- soup came cold and server spilled it
- server had bad attitude, bus boy was more helpful ( it wasn't even busy
- lots of hobos and creeps outside the restaurant and the area
- horrible steak
- spaghetti was bland
- my stomach felt queezy until I stepped out of the restaurant ( possible haunted effect?)

I have been to other locations and never thought they were very impressive either, but they were average and the same items that I got before was way better than here

I didn't complain to the servers because they didn't look like the type to care, but a tip to management is to do a performance assesment

Only came for friends, but not food

Food is consistent but not impressive. I've been here twice and I've always had a good time, but never fully satisfied with the food. Neither were my friends. However, it's not worth complaining about, but more of a nice meeting you, probably won't see you again type of place. It's just another franchise restaurant that's convenient, known, but average food.

Long wait, ok experience

Hot dogs weren't bursting with flavour, it was good though. It's nice to know that the actual hot dog is good quality without the bad stuff that you would risk for a street hot dog.

It's cool to visit occasionally, but that wouldn't be regular lunch spot if I worked around there.

Thumbs up for the great entrepreneurship!

Casual Home-Style Mexican Food
Submitted Monday, June 4, 2012 - 7:30pm [Dine in]

I love Mexican food and it's hard to find good and cheap ones around here. What I like about this place is it has a local and casual feel. I love their nachos and hot chocolate. I prefer their beef and pork meals better than their steamed chicken. I also like the sides of rice, beans, salsa, and guacamole ( I think that's only on some meals).

This place isn't a fancy hang out, but it's affordable and good food. All their meals are typically the same style depending on what kind of meat you get. For example you would typically get the same sides on most meals. It's good though. It's a small place, but it's not a horrible place to try out.

Conclusion:
Even though this is a home-style food place, I could not eat at this place everyday. HOWEVER, it's a nice special place to visit about once a month. Don't expect a high class restaurant, but you would definitely not get fast food material like Taco Bell or Taco Del Mar. I feel full and happy every time I eat here.
