We had a wonderful dinner here the other night. Had forgotten about how lovely a room it is - both stylish and comfortable, which seems to be a rare combination. Service was excellent, just missing 5 stars due to a some confusion between servers but otherwise perfect. Dinner was very solid. We enjoyed the feature appetizer, which we strangely noticed was on the menu as well and at the same price. It lovely, as were our entrees and dessert. The wine list was quite smart, and although we didnt indulge in any beers or cocktails, they certainly looked fabulous on the menu and on the tables of the guests around us.
That makes 4 for 4 in terms of successful dinners at Chambar, and I dont think you can ask for better than that.

Consistently great bang for your buck. My girlfriends and i go for lunch, eat till we're stuffed and never spend more than an average of $12 to $15 per person. Service is friendly albeit curt and the room looks much better (read: cleaner) since they renovated recently, but the food is why we go and will continue to go. We especially like their house specialty rolls. Super value, and the fact that they're busy makes me feel good about the frshness of the fish. .
