Pretty Darn Good
Submitted Monday, April 26, 2010 - 2:28am [Dine in]

The food here is excellent. The service is alright. The value is all there and then some. This place is like any other chinese restaurant. They have nice specials which would catch your eye. The only time I go is during dinner, and they have been very consistent with their portions and quality. I live in Burnaby and would make that extra hike to get here just to eat.

Nothing wrong with this place. The food was good, the service was alright, the value was there, and just like any other chinese restaurant, busy with loud noises. Nothing spectacular, but it's alright if you are there already craving chinese food. I'd like to mention to that there are quite a lot of people trying to get in during lunch, so if you want to get in, you need to go early.

View for money... Not too sure about value there.
Submitted Monday, April 26, 2010 - 2:18am [Dine in]

This place had an excellent all you can eat brunch. In my opinion, probably the best value you will get here in comparison to dinner and lunch. I don't see how the food was terrible as the other comments say, because there was no problem with the food here. Maybe it was because I went for brunch, where many other people did too. The view is spectacular, but for it's price... Not too sure if that's worth it. Good experience here.

Depressing...
Submitted Monday, April 26, 2010 - 2:14am [Dine in]

The food quality has been greatly reduced since I was a child (mind you that was many many years ago). The food was alright, but not worth it considering you have a red robins and boston pizza next door. The atmosphere is very depressing and dark. Not a good place if you want to stay happy throughout your dining experience.

Just Another Boston Pizza...
Submitted Monday, April 26, 2010 - 2:10am [Dine in]

The food is consistent with the other branches and is definitely worth a try if you have never eaten here before. The service is alright, nothing for me to complain about. The value is average, nothing particular. However, I do enjoy the scenery. The multiple televisions around to keep up with the hockey games and the colourful walls of jerseys and sports. This is a good place to eat if you are wanting to watch the game while eating.

I haven't been here for quite some time now, and when I went back, it was disappointing. The servings were getting smaller, the quality was diminishing, and the place is getting more quiet. The value is also getting worse. The best thing about this place is the fact that they have a TV to preoccupy you from their lack of good food. I would not come back if I were given the option.

What's so great about it?
Submitted Monday, April 26, 2010 - 1:57am [Dine in]

The food here is so-so. We ordered chicken with red chili peppers. We didn't quite get what we ordered. Instead, we got chicken with red chili peppers. The crazy amount of red chili was excessive. Although I do understand this place is a pepper house, they do not need to be so extreme to give us twice as much peppers than chicken.

Small Cafe for Bubbletea
Submitted Monday, April 26, 2010 - 1:54am [Dine in]

Throughout Crystal Mall, I would come here for two reasons: #1) It's cheap. #2) It has a homey feel. I haven't tried the food here, but the bubbletea is definitely worth the walk. The owners are pretty nice I must say. They also have a bubbletea card worth picking up if you go enough.

Worst Dining Experience Ever
Submitted Monday, April 26, 2010 - 1:49am [Dine in]

I've been there twice. What a fool I was to not learn my lesson the first time. The second (and last) time I went there was absolutely disappointing. The food came out very slow in reduced portions. The manager (not the waiter, he was actually very friendly) told the waiter to kick us out. While doing that, we were shoving food into our mouths as we were leaving the place and the manager giving us the 'death' glare. The worst part was that we did not even reach our time limit yet (30 minutes left). The verdict: this place should be shut down due to lack of customer service and dissatisfaction.

Nothing Special
Submitted Monday, April 26, 2010 - 1:36am [Dine in]

The food here is alright, nothing too special. The box sets are nice to have because not too many places in North Burnaby have that option. The service was alright, and the value was pretty good. This place doesn't have the greatest ambiance, but the food tastes good so it doesn't matter. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here though.

Good Food, But Is It Worth It?
Submitted Monday, April 26, 2010 - 1:33am [Dine in]

Curry doesn't cost much. Why do they only give you such a small portion? After leaving this place, I was not satisfied and felt as if I needed to go to McDonalds to fill myself up. However, the food tastes good. Overall, I would not come back until it becomes cheaper to dine there.

Not As Bad As The Other One
Submitted Monday, April 26, 2010 - 1:26am [Dine in]

At this branch, they gave my brother and I free Anducci's T-shirts. The waitress was very nice and served the food with a great big smile. Personally, I like the bruschetta. It is a very tasty appetizer. Overall, good experience at this branch and would come back if in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way to dine here.

Very Casual
Submitted Monday, April 26, 2010 - 1:21am [Dine in]

The food here is pretty good, considering it is All You Can Eat for less than $10. I do not see why the other reviewers say this place is terrible. This place is very casual, and lets you choose where to sit, and best of all, choose what you want to eat! They have excellent curry, and probably the best selection you will come across in Vancouver. I would definitely come back.

Expensive Dimsum
Submitted Monday, April 26, 2010 - 1:14am [Dine in]

Before, when I was young, I remember coming here so it must be good. I went back almost 15 years later and the value of the food was absolutely disgusting. There was no value. The service was also very bad and we timed them to see who could see our hands raised. It took them 3:20 to notice so we could get our food. Definitely wouldn't be seeing me back there!

The best thing about this place is that it is right there connected to the bowling alleys. We had a large party there, and the pizza was catered to us, so I cannot really comment on their service other than it got to us. Overall, it tastes alright, but nothing spectacular.

Good Food, But At What Cost?
Submitted Monday, April 26, 2010 - 1:06am [Dine in]

The food here is good I must say, but definitely not worth the money I paid. The portions are relatively small, and would require you to eat afterwards if you want to be satisfied. The best thing about this place is their flatscreen tvs showing the hockey game. I would definitely not come back if I were given the option to (unless it was free).

Good Food, Very Consistent
Submitted Monday, April 26, 2010 - 1:01am [Dine in]

If you want Chinese food, try it. The food here is very typical Hong Kong style everything. The price is relatively low considering how much food you would normally get anywhere else. The portions are satisfying. However, like almost all chinese restaurants, their washrooms stink. Litterally. Overall, I would come back if I were in the area, however I would not go out of my way to go there.

The food here is just like the Keg in Burnaby. However, this place is much nicer in comparison to the one in Burnaby. The view of the water is very pleasant and nice to have while you enjoy your dining experience here. The service was alright, enough for me not to comment anything bad. I would definitely come back here again.

Good Place For A Once A Year Occasion
Submitted Monday, April 26, 2010 - 12:34am [Dine in]

I went here for my parents anniversary, and definitely have to say, very costly but an excellent dining experience. The food was good and I had no complaints with their service. The view is spectacular. The view of water while dining here in a semi-dimmed setting is very nice. See you next year Boathouse!

Submitted Sunday, April 25, 2010 - 11:25pm [Dine in]

I have no idea why I'm rating McDonald's. Must be bored or something. Anyhow, this place is special because it is possibly the largest McDonald's in the entire lower mainland. This place has two, possibly three levels. The large building is a great place to stop if you need coffee and you are driving along the highway.
