(2.8) (2.8) (2.2) (3.3)The breakfast was good - but unlike the info from some of the posters there is no cheap breakfast special. I think all the plates were around 8$ and so we will continue the hunt for a great breakfast special (lots of food on the cheap)...this place was good, but not what we are looking for
The food doesn't have an authentic taste at all - and this place is big-time over-rated. For mexican food go to Las Pepitas instead (it's close by on Burrard). I won't be returning to this place any time soon that is for sure.
They have many specials (different one each day) and then on Sundays everything is on special (= great deals). The atmosphere is great (pub or dinner area) and we will definately be back and will bring friends.
The service was slow, the food that we ordered was pretty bland and over-priced for what it was...although I guess people go for the atmosphere (which was good).
We had poutine....should use cheese curds...and not enough gravy
We both really enjoyed our meals. I liked the (overwhelming) Mexican decorations...there wasn't a band playing when we were there - but a mexican CD instead. My BF was also happy to watch the hockey game on their screens. We will be back
Nice place to sit back and relax - and even though the servings were large - don't come too hungry because you will wait and wait for service. The servers seem a bit too relaxed themselves and we found it hard to get anyone's attention when we wanted water
