Normal pricing for their breakfast items for the cafes in the Port Moody area. It has a clean mom and pop feel dining decore. Speedy food prep considering the place was full. Pay first , bring back your own dishes type of place. Hidden $0.75 charge per person if you order a cup of water which was added to our bill without us knowing. The last 2 issues were a bit of a surprise for our party of 6. Since is was our first time being asked by a waitress to clear our own table and we were not used to being charged for hot water which in Vancouver is usually free. When asked about the water charge , we were informed that it costs money to heat the water and serve it in a cup and wash it.
I would recommend this location if your comfortable with the last 2 things and if not I would reccomend Omega Cafe across the street.
Has anyone else ever been to an eatery and been charged for non bottled water or hot water in a mug?

I have been going here for years with my boyfriend and we are always treated like friends. The owner and his family run a great cafe where you can buy breakfast all day long. Sometimes we stay for beers too and have more fun than going to the pub. Whether you want to have a quiet brunch with your friend or come and chat with the local community who are regular customers you will be happy leaving nicolinas. French toast is the best and best entre is the beef teriyaki. I would like to thank Jack and his family for always being so good to us. Mishka and Ryan

As a local who would rather spend my $ locally I very much regularly enjoy Nicolelina's Cafe. The proprietors are warm, courtious, friendly and provide GOOD grub! This place is by far the best small to medium food joint in the 'hood! A mixture of local and exotic menu items and good coffee makes this the place to stop on your way to work or on your way home.

The owner and his wife are always friendly and eager to please. On top of the great tasting food which my wife also enjoys, I am served a variety gluten free meals at my request which I always find to my taste. There is a great atmosphere, and you get a bright greeting on arrival. I definitely feel we get value for money, and always look forward to our visits.
