Lazy Den is bubble tea house in Port Moody.
Mrs. C and I had just finished dinner with some friends at a nearby restaurant and our tongues were on fire. We scampered into LDTH for some quick refreshment. The ambiance was quite nice, with a choice of sofas or regular table/chair combos for your reclining pleasure.
The have a pretty extensive menu of bevvy's too. Mrs. C selected a banana/strawberry slush, and we decided to share. Our friends had piña colada BBT and a coffee milk tea. All were reported to be excellent, and I thought my real fruit slush was a great deal for $3.50 including tax. Each BBT was 3 bucks. Pearls are extra.
Service was good, and the price was right. I'll be back.
A great place for bubble tea, and one of the cheaper places for it. I notice that there's usually two sizes for bubble tea, and Lazy Den has the larger size for a lower price. The bubble tea is little on the sweet side, but maybe that's why it's popular with high school students.
The foods are good, too. The noodles in meat sauce is always tasty, not too salty, and fills you up. The tuna sandwich (which I usually get) is good, and is just the right size for lunch with a bubble tea (combo).
Good food for a great value.
Value for money!
Always greeted by the friendly 'aunties' of Lazy Den. The food is amazing. Great for a quick meal for students, and very affordable. Your choice of noodles in meat sauce, sanwiches, or noodle soup WITH bubbletea for just $5!
I absolutely love this place and would recommend it.
Colourful decorations, washroom could be a little cleaner.
You can also call in and order for pickup. Service is excellent and fast!
Lazy Den Tea House is a quaint and friendly place to enjoy a fabulous selection of bubble teas. I first found the Lazy Den when they were located in Coquitlam. After my first enjoyable experience with the friendly staff and outstanding bubble tea (not to mention the great prices!) I quickly became a 'regular'.
Despite the fact that they have moved to a new (but much nicer) location in Port Moody which is much farther from my house, I still journey over for my bubble tea fix!
As mentioned, the staff is very friendly. They always remember me and chat with me and ask about my baby girl when I drop by. (With the amount of bubble tea I drank when I was pregnant, my daughter will be a devoted second generation bubble tea drinker when she's old enough to safely have the pearls!)
One reviewer mentioned that the tea is a bit sweet. Here's a quick secret, next time ask for half sugar, which is what my husband and I do. The staff is more than happy to adjust the sweetness to suit your taste.
I highly recommend trying the Lazy Den Tea House.
