Still the Best Piza Establsment in the Lower Mainland

Since my last review of this exemplary pizza eatery in Port Moody, it continues to be the very best purveyor of high quality pizzas and pasta in the area.

The proprietor, Reza, is no mere line cook but a full-fledged and decorated chef whose skills in the culinary realm are beyond reproach. Nor only does he turn out highly edible pizza creations but his food is truly exemplary with imaginative flavors and combinations that only a chef could create.

If you wish to experience something truly out of the ordinary, give Jokers pizza a try. You will be amazed at the quality and the originality of the fare! And the price is right, too!

My husband and I started ordering here after walking by and picking up a menu one day. We immediately liked the man behind the counter, and were impressed by the claims everything there was homemade and fresh. We tried the food, and found it to be all the things he claimed. Thin crust, thick crust, who cares?? It was tasty and good value for the money, so we will take it! My husband likes the capricosa, I love the veggie pizza and the artichoke salad. Wanting to try the pasta next and all the freshly-made sauces.

I tried their pizza after i tried one of the poorest pizza shop in area, and complaining about their food to my friend and he suggested me Jokers,he said its really good, but i couldn't even imagine what i had.
i tried one of their pizza called Angus.(cappicolo, roast beef and fried mixed mushroom)the pizza was finished with peppercorn sauce that gives it a unique taste.i never seen or heard all these pizza in their menu ,so unique and tasty.
100% the best i ever had and i suggest it to every one since they have different pizza for different tastes.hope they stay there and keep the quality.

We recently ordered some Pizza for Delivery. I had heard that this pizza place was really good we had a menu that had been delivered to our apartment and all of us agreed that the menu was unique and the prices were reasonable. The pizza was delivered within a reasonable amount of time, I was a little alarmed when the delivery person presented the bill (it seemed higher than I remembered the menu to be) but accepted it all the same. Once inside we opened the pizza and the order seemed completely wrong. Two of us HATE mushrooms and one of them was COVERED, the other one was covered in olives, which were also not listed in either of the pizzas we ordered. We reviewed the menus again - the ingredients were listed no mushrooms or olives to be seen and called the restaurant to inform them that we had been delivered the wrong pizzas and requested that the delivery person return so that we could get our order. The person whom we spoke to rudely and informed us that those were our pizzas, he proceeded to inform us that it was our fault that we had the old menu and there had since been changes to the ingredients in some of their pizzas. He told us to "deal with it and pick the toppings off" he stated that was not his problem he would not be giving us any free pizza (which we never asked for), that he would not deliver new pizzas and that we could not return the ones we had for refund. He then told us that there was no benefit for him to try to make us happy because we would likely not return anyway — we all agreed later this was a big mistake — had we been treated respectfully and the restaurant tried to make us happy we probably would have ordered again — after all once we had picked off the undesirable toppings the pizza was pretty good. Too bad I will never try one that is more suited to my taste - I will never give this establishment another penny.

Best Pizza, Worst location!

I saw the new pizzaria on my way to Coquitllam mall. Later that month I was trying to go to this restaurent and found it very hard to find a place to park. When I finally found a place I found that the restaurent was a bit crampt. A little wile later I tasted the pizza. It was delicious. I alway get delivery now because I hate trying to find a place to park on that busy intersection. The delivery is quick and FREE if you live 1km or less away from the restaurent. The employees are always kind and I have never had a problem with them. Its a great buy but not a good dine in.

Our family went out to Joker's in Port Moody tonight for the first time and had a Caesar salad, Piri Piri pizza and Veggie Ace pizza. Everything tasted great with very interesting ingredients and unique flavours. Friendly service, decent prices. Just 6 counter seats inside – so next time I’ll pick-up or have delivery.
I definitely recommend this place.

Joker's Pizza IS Port Moody's Pizza Place

Port Moody is home to a community that is small, has diverse yet fine tastes and is unique in character. It is the City of the Arts, proud of its creativity.

Joker's Pizza embodies those same traits.

When you look at their menu, you won't see many topping combinations you recognize. Each original is unique and exciting, begging to be tried! Pizza that is creative and fresh, fusing international flavors with the homemade, hand tossed dough. Each one of Joker's Originals are a work of art that will please any palette. And for those not so adventurous types looking for standard favorites, order away because they'll make those too!

It doesn't stop there. Jokers has original Pasta that will surely please.

Ordering for delivery or take-out is always easy (cash/credit/debit at the door) and always comes with a customer pleasing smile. The cost is great too, cheaper than the factory franchise places. Gourmet pizza and pasta at family prices!

Give Joker's a shot at earning your loyalty today. It's something they're good at!

I drive from North Van to Port Moody for Joker's Pizza
By meeks of North Vancouver (8 Reviews)
Submitted Sunday, January 17, 2010 - 1:08pm [Dine in]

We happened to be in Port Moody yesterday evening and a friend recommended Joker's Pizza which was around the corner from there home. So we popped by and ordered the Evil Beef (Spicy beef, onion, Italian sausage & tomato sauce). The menu clearly stated 'this is a thin crust pizza' (for those of you that complained about thin crust) which I don't normally care for but thought we'd try it anyways.

I saw they have certificates on the wall from a couple of culinary institutes (don't see that often) and they've apparently won a medal of some sort for culinary excellence. I also noticed the large mixer used for making the pizza dough by hand. When I ordered the pizza they hand pressed the dough and made it on the spot. They had a few orders ahead of mine so I waited about 25 minutes for the pizza - definitely worth waiting for!

It was a spicy pizza but the spice was more about the flavour than the 'heat'. Having grown up in Vancouver where there seems to be a pizza place on every corner THIS IS THE BEST PIZZA I'VE EVER HAD IN CANADA! I've already told about 9 people about it since last night, and I'm going back there from North Vancouver with a buddy of mine just so we can experience the flavour again. Definitely a gold mine to have found this place...gold mine...right next to the Golden Spike Pub... ;)

they only offer thin crust unless you ask for something else

All of the pizza places that I have ordered from will tell you whether you like regular crust or thin crust. It was my first time ordering from this place and the lady that I spoke to did not mention anything about the fact that they only offer thin crust unless you ask for something else. I picked up the pizza and when I got home I was surprised that the pizza was thin crust and even three topping 2 pizzas did not fill 3 people. When I phoned them and explained the situation, the person said that most of our customers know that we only offer thin crust by default. What if you are a new customer? It will only take two seconds to say: would like thin or regular crust? You decide for yourself whether you want to visit this place or not! This is what I call really poor customer service because the manager did not do anything to make it up! That's my first and last visit to this place.

Best Pizza I've Had In A While
By ChefTavakoli of Kitsilano, Vancouver (1 Review)

A couple weeks ago I was driving down St. Johns street and I saw a new pizza and pasta joint has opened! I went inside and was greeted very nicely by the chef and my order was taken. When I saw the variety of pizzas they had I was speechless. I wanted to try all of them without looking like a pig. I ordered the Veggie Ace pizza with zucchini, eggplant, green pepper and red pepper and I also tried the spicy mumbai pizza. It was Indian inspired with cilantro, ginger, chicken, banana peppers and a tandoori sauce. Both pizzas with LOTS OF CHEESE! For 2 medium pizzas my total was around $22!! AND THEY DELIVER TOO!!!! Order from here to help the new business in our community! Cheers.
