My partner and I went to Jan Jan a couple of times when we lived in Pt. Moody in 2005 and found the food to be quite good. We ordered the "Love Boat" special which came in a multi-course format of appetizers, mains and dessert. The fried corn appy was quite a treat, and the sushi was good too. I don't think the decor was anything too exciting, but it was adequate as was the service. I've eaten at many sushi restaurants in Vancouver and found Jan Jan held its own quite well.
