This place switched hands early in 2015. Reviews from before that are super positive so we gave this place a try last Friday night, calling for take-out. First off, we were told 20-25 mins, then waited 45 mins for our food. When we got home, opened it up, and I don't know if these people have EVER eaten sushi before, never mind making it. It was coated in creamy sauces, yams looked like old McDonalds fries, and the negitoro roll (tuna with spring onion) was a thick rice roll with a salty, sour pickle of some kind in the middle. The nigiri was loose rice on cabbage/lettuce, with a small thin square of anemic salmon on top. I wouldn't eat it if you paid me. Everything else was unrecognizable and totally unappetizing. We returned and after trying to argue with me, the owner did finally give my money back. I expect that if I had eaten this, I would have regretted it. The "chef" clearly has no training as a sushi chef. Not saying you have to be Japanese to make sushi, but you need to be formally trained. This guy has neither of these. My prediction is this place will be closed by summer. No one would ever go here twice.
