waves coffee is so much better than its competition s buckies, but this location in poco has the worst food. it is all old stale and not fresh . the banana loaf used to have generous sized peices aand tasted fresh . now the pieces are sliced too thin and taste stale . hopefilly it will improve before they lose all their customers
Not being a fan of the Waves cafes, I had never really tried this location. Where others are either rundown and empty or packed with students taking up tables for hours on a $2 coffee this was completely different. Weird, in Poco.
It had a great cafe vibe, a good mix of people, good music and nice table set ups. I had a coupon from the paper and it was gladly accepted with no hassle. I think I had a caramel macchiato and honestly it was 100 times better than anything I ever have at Starbucks. Good coffee with good crema. I was stunned, it almost tasted like Cafe Artigiano. Slightly more than Starbucks in cost but the coffee and atmosphere were worth it. I will be back.
Its a young team..nothing wrong with that, just seems, like they dont have alot of business knowledge...long line ups...long service for your food if you want to enjoy indoors...I just dont enjoy this location.
It seems hard pressed (no pun intended) for them to get orders right. I feel bad for the kids behind the counter..they really need a strong leader !
The service is poor..I can rely on the fact that what ever I order drink wise will be wrong when I get it. I have ordered things as simple as a sausage roll, heated, and its taken up to 10 minutes to receive it....... ...When ever my husband says lets go to Waves..I decline.....Somebody please teach these kids that No Foam.. Does not Mean No Fat..and visa versa !!! ggrrr!!!!
