My husband and I were searching for a local diner/deli for a refreshing lunch. We initially went to Inno, but they do not provide a dine-in option (no tables & chairs). My husband and I then went next door to Polonia and while the restaurant was empty and decor on the kitschy side, we decided to give it a chance. The staff was friendly and efficient and the food delicious. The deli carries authentic polish meats and cheeses and the homemade borscht was to die for! I emptied the bowl and vowed to try making borscht at home. We both left with a smile on our faces and will certainly return. The $15 price tag for 2 sandwiches (freshly made), a big bowl of borscht, a polish donut and a soda, can't be beat!
very sad that a mom and pop style deli does not appreciate a potential customers business....they are very rude ...they used to be a nice deli but could not care less on whether yo shop there or not..they are going to have a rude awakening when the inno bakery and deli opens up next door to them next month.. by that time it will be too late as i am sure that previous custmers are not going back to the polonia deli...
