I was looking forward to this place as my nephew had a soccer game there at Gates park. I was however, NOT prepared for the price! I expected to get a burger and fries for maybe $6 as it is a take out place in a park. A cheese burger and fries was $10 same as in some sit down restaurants adn halibut and chips was $15!!! I'm not kidding. I remember going to the one in Richmond a few years ago and not being shocked by the prices.
i had a VEGGIE doog - one tofu weeinie in a bun and it rang up at $5. Not spectacular either, just average. they better revisist their price structure or they'll being going down soon.
There's nothing like this place in Poco at least for the ambiance. While the fish and chips are good, they're not the best. The grilled cheese for kids was kind of odd. But - They offer veggies burgers and DOGS. I can have a dog with fired onions and watch a baseball game on a warm summer evening, I can walk, take my kids to the park etc. It's a great interactive park and therefore a perfect location. There's the full Pajos menu as well and ice cream. Just skip the coffee - it's paint stripper. All in all THANKS Pajos for being there!
